AI Product Owner @ Modulai

As an AI Product Owner at Modulai, you are the strategic linchpin between our clients' business goals and our technical teams. You won’t be managing a simple backlog; you will define the product vision, steer the roadmap, and own the delivery of high-impact AI solutions from concept to production.  

This is a role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and strategy. You will be accountable for the outcome, adept at navigating complex trade-offs, and skilled at creating alignment between clients, data scientists, and ML engineers to ensure we build the right thing at the right time.  

As we continue to push the boundaries of applied AI, you will play a key part in shaping how we deliver cutting-edge solutions, including agentic workflows and next-generation ML systems.  

What You’ll Do

• Define AI use cases and develop product roadmaps in close collaboration with clients and internal expert teams.  

• Serve as the strategic link between business needs and technical solutions, translating requirements into clear AI/ML problem statements.  

• Own and prioritize a unified backlog, balancing data, modeling, infrastructure, and UX work to maximize business impact.  

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI products, ensuring they evolve from prototypes to robust, production-ready systems.  

• Build trust and manage stakeholder expectations around timelines, uncertainty, and the iterative nature of AI development.  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong AI/ML literacy with professional experience as an ML/AI engineer or as a technical product owner in AI-focused teams.  

• A true product mindset with a proven ability to connect ML improvements to measurable business value.  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and earn trust.  

• A collaborative spirit: humble, curious, and eager to learn and share in a team of senior experts.  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with agentic workflows, autonomous systems, or reinforcement learning.  

• A background in consulting or other client-facing environments.  

• Experience taking a product from the initial idea to MVP and monetization.

Additional Details

• You must be eligible to work in Sweden (we do not currently offer visa sponsorship).  

• Weekly presence at our Stockholm or Gothenburg office is expected.
