The Role: Commercial Lead
This is a role for a business builder who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology and relationships. You’ll take clear ownership of the early stages of our sales process; from prospecting and qualifying leads to developing new opportunities and partner-driven business.

Modulai is a leading Nordic AI/ML consultancy with deep expertise in Generative AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, LLMOps, and Agentic AI. We collaborate with clients across industries — from banking and healthcare to media and manufacturing — helping them turn AI into real business value.
We’re in a strong growth phase with many inbound inquiries and a growing client base. To meet the demand, we’re looking for someone who can take clear ownership of the early stages of our sales process; from prospecting and qualifying leads to developing new opportunities, including partner-driven business.
What you’ll do:
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities across multiple channels — both inbound and outbound.
- Develop and refine our outbound strategy, including Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), messaging, and playbooks for outreach.
- Use data and insights to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline, collaborating closely with technical and leadership teams to align outreach with Modulai’s goals.
- Partner with the Delivery Lead (your engineering counterpart) to ensure client expectations and delivery are aligned.
- Represent Modulai at industry events, conferences, and forums — building senior-level relationships that drive long-term engagement and growth.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 5 years in consultative B2B sales, negotiation and presentation, ideally in consulting, tech, or SaaS.
- Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle, from lead generation to contracting.
- Knowledgeable about how AI creates business value. You don’t have to be an engineer, but you can identify business needs in discussions with decision-makers and translate technical opportunities into concrete business outcomes.
- A strong network in industrial and scientific industries.
- Structured and analytical, with the ability to drive processes forward and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

- Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg.
- Flexible working hours.
- Regular travel opportunities, occasionally outside the Nordics.
